Make a Silver Ring
2 Day Winter School Workshop
Suitable for beginners
Over the 2 days participants will learn how to design and make their own perfectly fitting, unique sterling silver ring. Learners can choose from a highly polished finish, an oxidized look, or a brushed finish in the metal; along with exploring a variety of decorative patterning and texturing effects with hammers and stamped lettering.
Other basic fabrication techniques covered during the workshop include saw piercing, forming, silver soldering, annealing, drilling, filing, polishing, and alternate surface finishes. At the conclusion of the course participants will have learnt the skills necessary to create & decorate beautiful rings of their own design. All sterling silver and studio tools will be provided.
