INTRO TO JEWELLERY MAKING

 

This 6 week course introduces participants to basic skills used to create silver jewellery - including saw piercing, filing, soldering,         polishing, decorative finishes, & basic design principles. Learners will be guided through the design and creation of a neck pendant and either a finger ring or pair of earrings.

ConNECKt:

Intermediate jewellery class

 

This 6 week intermediate jewellery course has been designed as a progressive step

for students who have completed the 'Introduction to Jewellery Making' class or have some prior skills and jewellery making experience. Participants will continue to build on their jewellery making skills and gain additional experience in a range of

processes; including chain making and linking techniques, soldering, forming and cold joining methods. Students will design and make a more complex neckpiece of their choice that incorporates these new skills and techniques.
