  INDIAN INSPIRED
“This recent body of work has drawn inspiration from the cultural importance of the bangle form; creating work based on architectural details, silhouettes and intricate stonework jali screens. Experiencing the Delhi flower markets prior to the festival of Diwali also proved very inspirational. Fragrant garlands of marigold and jasmine adorned every surface, highlighting both the incredibly exquisite yet transient nature of much Indian ornamentation.”   Meghan O’Rourke 2008
